Meet Kelsey Martin
CNS, LDN, MS
Certified Nutrition Specialist | Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist
I’m a board-certified Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) with a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from Sonoran University. I provide evidence-based, integrative Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and personalized nutrition care to help both adults and children optimize their health and well-being.
My approach focuses on uncovering root causes and making meaningful connections between all the ‘puzzle pieces’ of a person’s health. I believe in truly individualized care, focusing on the strengths and positive lifestyle choices already in place — then building on those to create lasting progress and success.
My passion for nutrition began during my undergraduate years as a competitive cross country and track athlete. I saw firsthand how food choices directly impacted my performance, recovery, and energy levels — a curiosity that turned into a lifelong dedication to understanding how nutrition shapes our health. Over the years, I became a go-to resource for friends and family seeking nutrition guidance, inspiring me to pursue advanced training in the field.
As a mother of two, my commitment to personalized nutrition has deepened through supporting my own children’s health challenges with specialized care and lifestyle strategies. Outside of my practice, you’ll find me running, camping, reading, and enjoying family adventures. My husband and I co-own The Colorado Marathon and The Platte River Half Marathon and Relay, where we support community health and wellness through these events. I also coach runners individually, helping them reach goals ranging from a first 5k to qualifying for the Boston Marathon, and the Leadville
Trail 100. In addition, I support emerging nutrition professionals through the CNS mentorship program with Purple Greens Wellness, helping to guide their clinical development and success.
I’m proud to partner with Dr. Jessie Miller at Foundations Family Medicine, where I collaborate on integrative care plans that support whole-person health.
I believe deeply in the power of nutrition to restore balance, spark healing, and help every person feel their very best.
